This Last Weekend

I forgot what I did on Friday. Must have been unimportant.

Saturday
On Saturday I went to the ordination of Andrew Lee. (I was dressed in a suit because…) –> After the ordination, I went to a wedding of a second-cousin I have never met before. I got to see some of my cousins that I haven’t seen for a while. The banquet was at Jade Palace (I think). They had the usual Chinese wedding meal delicacies; lobster, shrimp, scallop, shark fin soup, chicken, other sea food, fried rice, noddles, etc.

The wedding got me thinking about Christian liberty versus lawlessness. What “love” games are appropriate? On one hand, the couple is now married, but on the other hand, I don’t care to see that stuff. I’m not trying to be boring… however, if I were in charge, I would do things differently… I’m not even sure how I could do it differently. I would need to sit down and think about it.

The music was too loud. Good thing I sat away from the speakers.

Sunday
On Sunday, I went to Covenant of Grace as usual. I played two hymns during worship service. The first one went well, but on the second one, I basically forgot how to play the piano. I forgot what key I was in and my hands were cold from the air conditioning, so they wouldn’t play automatically. My hands are the first body parts on me that freeze. I think I have poor circulation. I should practice piano more. After that I went back to Covenant Church (the mother church) to see my buds.

Ben, Josh, and I were singing songs in acapella. Ben is getting good at the guitar. He just started playing it within the last 1 or 2 years.

Then I went to play ball with some of the church guys. It’s great playing with them now. Josh and I are the yougins, the 19 yr olds, so we have fun exerting energy and running around. Still, the older people have brains. Playing ball at church is really fun. When I play pick up games at the park near my house, in general, the people are more selfish.

After that, I went to Uncle William’s. I played Monopoly, ate some ice cream, watched some olympians swim, added a spam filter onto Antie Bing’s computer, fiddled with a router, played with my cousins, and got an adjustment for my back from Uncle (Dr.) William. For some reason, just this last month, one of my shoulders is higher than the other.
