Today I had lunch with my boss and 2 other department members. The conversation was pretty interesting.
Them: Where did you intern in D.C.?
Me: The Center for Christian Statesmanship
Them: What do they/ you do?
Me: One of the things I did was help organize events where Congressman spoke about their experiences. The CCS is not an interest group, it is a ministry that tries to tell people about the good news of Jesus Christ.
One of them: What is the good news?
Boss (fearing that she would rip on Christianity): Let’s not get sacrilegious.
(But I think she was definitely interested. May God give me an opportunity to follow up.)
