I am a sinner saved by God’s grace. I was born and raised on Long Island, New York, but caught my father’s love for national parks at a young age. I love to play basketball, eat different foods, explore nature, and learn about God. I am a graduate of Grove City College and Liberty University School of Law. Currently, I practice law in Virginia Beach. I’m a husband to my wife Nikki and father of four energetic boys.
My passion is for the local church, which (according to Jesus) will be triumphant against evil in the end. Our family attends Cornerstone Bible Church in Virginia Beach. Previously, I served as an elder at a PCA church in Norfolk, Virginia.
I enjoy helping Christians resolve their conflicts in a Biblical fashion. In 2013, I received the Certified Christian Conciliator™ designation with the Institute for Christian Conciliation™, which was a division of Peacemaker Ministries. I have served as a Christian Conciliator for marriage and church conflicts. Having been through the suffering of an unwanted divorce, I’ve learned to have compassion for others and learned that God wants my heart more than a “perfect” Christian. Yes, God is all-sufficient in all of life’s trials.
In 2020, I enjoyed writing “Peacemaking in the Church: Covid-19 and Conscience” and being interviewed on Pilgrim Radio to encourage Christians to live in love and unity while facing the stresses of the pandemic. I’ve enjoyed thinking through Biblical peacemaking principles. Here are some of my older blog posts about Biblical Peacemaking. I have been glad to see the Christian Conciliation world desiring to grow in its understanding of abuse and understanding the limitations of mediation in abuse cases.
Yours for Christ,
